In this workshop you get to practice and learn how to optimally approach difficult conversations. Difficult conversations span from those where you and your manager or colleague just don’t see eye to eye, or where a meeting continues to go around in circles without reaching a productive solution. This could be caused by different communication styles, or underlying emotions, confusions or frustrations that create tension. Whatever the cause, it will often lead to the inability to productively communicate.
We often tend to avoid difficult conversations such as giving feedback to colleagues or managers, negotiating with a difficult client, evaluations, or even chatting with a colleague that you don’t always see eye to eye with. The difficult conversations training helps you to overcome the dread of these conversations through equipping you with tools to handle any conversation!
In this training, we use tools models that are the most relevant and effective based on your particular case and situation. You will get to apply and practice these tools so you learn which ones work the best for you. Through the difficult conversations training, you’ll learn to communicate and manage difficult conversations while maintaining an optimal work-relationship.
