We all practice influencing; it’s a human trait. We start influencing from day one. But why are you more influential in some situations and not in others? Everyone has their own unique style. Some take up a lot of space, others give more space. Some seem more sympathetic in their influencing than others, however there is no right or wrong. The key is to see what influencing style works better for each particular conversation and situation. In this influencing skills training we use the Rose of Leary influencing model to strengthen your influencing skills. This does not mean manipulation, but actual influencing, and fostering more effective, and productive communication and collaboration.

Everyone is able to develop effective influencing skills and styles, which gives you the chance to succeed and reach your goals and targets. Important in this process is that the (working)relationships with others remain intact and even improve. This takes awareness, insight and the right tools to influence.
